Stand and Deliver!

According to myth the highwayman managed to snatch the precious acorn from Lady Donegall when she visited her husband’s new deer park on Cave Hill all those years ago!
He finally fell foul of the authorities, but where his treasure, including the silver acorn, was buried, no one knows - O’Haughan took his secrets to the grave when he was executed.
Some instructions and an old map are all that remain to help you find the secret stash on Cave Hill and locate the highwayman’s hidden hoard!

You can search further for more of Naoise O’Haughan’s 18th century loot over at Carnmoney Hill.
The leaflet can be downloaded at www.woodlandtrust.org.uk or on 02891 275 787.
