Our opportunities include:

  • Practical conservation tasks - tree planting, scrub clearance, dry stone walling, habitat restoration
  • Habitat surveying and recording
  • 'Adopt a hill'- reporting path erosion, flytipping and vandalism in your local area
  • Event assistant
  • Providing photographs or articles for use in BHP literature
  • Distribution of literature
  • Office-based computer work and online research
  • Fundraising - collection days, recruiting Friends.

By volunteering with the Belfast Hills Partnership you can take a positive role in helping to protect and conserve the hills.

No matter how much or how little time or experience you have, we will have a role for you in caring for the Belfast Hills.
